The Department of Chemistry at our university offers thesis-based master's programs in five main branches: analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, physical chemistry, and organic chemistry. Application requirements for the thesis-based master's program can be accessed from the Graduate Education Institute (https://lisansustu.gop.edu.tr/Default.aspx?d=tr-TR). The thesis-based master's program consists of at least 7 (seven) courses, including the compulsory scientific research and publication ethics course, with a minimum of 21 credits and 120 ECTS, one seminar course, a specialized field course, and courses involving thesis work. Students who successfully complete the thesis-based master's program are awarded a thesis-based master's diploma. Graduates who successfully complete the thesis-based master's program may continue their doctoral studies if they meet the necessary requirements.
